A Student Perspective

A trio of Simon Fraser University students studying French stopped by the Quest Food Exchange to volunteer in our food repackaging centre. Currently working on a class project exploring what the term “diversity” means, these SFU students gained a new perspective:

“After volunteering at and learning about Quest, we were amazed that one organization can target so many needs and help such a diverse demographic. For taking such a small amount of time out of our day, we were able to do a lot to help Quest in their amazing cause. We felt a strong sense of community, and we were able to experience each employee’s passion and dedication towards furthering and expanding Quest’s goals. We are so happy to be able to help reduce unnecessary food waste and sustain our community!”
